RCMP searching for missing Kamloops man who needs medication

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 63-year-old man.
In a news release issued Tuesday (Sept. 13), police say Leslie Leahy was last seen at his home in Mission Flats on Aug. 25. RCMP add that he requires medication.
Leahy is described as a white man standing 5’5” and weighing 150 lbs. He has shoulder-lengthy fuzzy grey hair and a long grey heard. Police say he often wears a hat.
“Mr. Leahy is known to hang around the area of Victoria Street and Third Avenue, but also to travel to outlying communities near Kamloops, such as Salmon Arm and Vernon,” Cpl Crystal Evelyn says.
Anyone who recognizes Leslie Leahy or has information related to his whereabouts is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
