KAMLOOPS — Canada Post is warning Interior residents of potential slow or delayed service due to the frigid weather.
The postal service emailed out the advisory Friday afternoon (Jan. 12), saying the Interior is now subject to a ‘yellow’ delivery service alert.
“A yellow service alert means we are going to do our best to deliver, but there may be delays,” notes the advisory.
The situation is more drastic for the city of Prince George, which is subject to a red delivery service alert, which means service is suspended for the day.
“Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so. The safety of our employees is our number one priority,” says the advisory.
