City of Kamloops offering smoke refuge at Sandman Centre

KAMLOOPS — With wildfire smoke lingering in the area, the City of Kamloops has opened the Sandman Centre Friday (July 16) as a smoke refuge.

The City says the concourse will be open daily for resident to walk around, or sit inside and get some relief from the poor air quality outside.

Residents can access the centre Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m until further notice.
