Shots fired toward home on Tk’emlups reserve: Kamloops RCMP
TK’EMLUPS — RCMP are looking into a shots fired incident on the Tk’emlups Reserve.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP detachment spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says Mounties were called to the 1000-block of Ricardo Road at about 10:50 p.m. Friday (Oct. 13).
There, they found evidence that a gun had been fired and a vehicle that appeared to have been doused in an accelerant.
“Based on the investigation so far, the incident appears to be targeted toward one residence in particular,” said Evelyn. “Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the gunfire, which could have easily resulted in a more tragic outcome.”
